Responsibilities
- Designs, builds, and maintains scalable automation tools and systems that improve internal operations and the customer onboarding experience.
- Builds AI and data-driven solutions to predict user risk and prevent fraud.
- Works with product, operations, compliance, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver results.
- Takes part in architecture discussions and code reviews to raise engineering quality.
- Continuously improves system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Acts as a technical role model for junior engineers and supports their growth.
What you need
- Holds a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Has 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Can quickly understand complex business processes and propose effective technical solutions.
- Communicates and collaborates well across different teams.
- Has experience developing backend or frontend systems in Kotlin, Java, React, or TypeScript.
- Has hands-on experience building scalable, reliable automation or workflow systems.
Good to have
- 1+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineers is a plus.
- Experience applying AI or machine learning to automation or risk detection is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud automation tools such as AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or CI/CD is a plus.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or a fast-paced startup is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance, risk control, or onboarding is a plus.
