Responsibilities
- Lead and set direction for the engineers on the Singapore-based Financial Platform team.
- Take part directly in development, shaping technical designs and defending the reasoning behind them.
- Drive development of a transaction engine built for scale and accuracy.
- Build a distributed multi-currency wallet platform and keep client ledgers precise.
- Work with product and other teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Use new tools, including AI, to improve team productivity and system observability.
What you need
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including work on distributed system reliability.
- 2+ years managing and leading a team of engineers.
- Understanding of accounting concepts such as ledgers, plus experience in the financial domain.
Good to have
- Experience with GCP or AWS cloud environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with event-driven architectures.
- Experience building and running automated testing and quality control processes.
- Experience integrating monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus or Grafana.
