Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, development and operations for treasury and payment platforms.
- Manage and develop engineers while owning technical direction, architectural decisions and service quality.
- Partner across product and engineering on priorities; contribute to code reviews, implementation and critical technical problems.
- Improve performance, reliability and team effectiveness with data and lead design reviews across global hubs.
What you need
- 10+ years in modern software engineering with strong development and architecture skills.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
- Proven leadership of high-performing teams and technical judgment for scalable, reliable systems.
- Cross-functional execution, ownership, prioritization and a data-driven, customer-aware quality focus.
- Strong programming or scripting in Java, Kotlin, C++, Python or a similar language.
- Five days weekly in the Seoul office, collaborating across US, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai engineering hubs.
Good to have
- Fintech, payments or other regulated financial domains.
- Deep JVM experience, including Java/Kotlin with Spring or Spring Boot.
- Leading high-availability, low-latency systems teams.
- Leading ambiguous, complex initiatives from design to delivery and operation.
