Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of AI, backend, and frontend engineers.
- Design and evolve the architecture for agent orchestration, retrieval, and tool integration.
- Drive production AI features from discovery through launch and improvement.
- Build evaluation practices that repeatedly test task success and safety.
- Build resilient, scalable systems covering service design, data pipelines, and incident response.
- Partner with product, design, data, and security teams to communicate technical decisions and risk clearly.
What you need
- Has eight or more years in software engineering, including two or more years leading or mentoring engineers.
- Has hands on experience designing and running scalable agent architecture or distributed systems.
- Understands the engineering side of retrieval, model integration, agent workflows, and evaluation.
- Takes a disciplined approach to evaluation, monitoring, and incident response to keep improving quality.
- Understands secure software design, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
