- Size and shape the expansion strategy for new APAC markets.
- Work through licensing paths, entity structure, and the commercial model into a local operating plan.
- Turn regulatory requirements into concrete product scope and launch sequencing with Product and Engineering.
- Prepare market prioritization and investment materials for executive decisions.
- Use AI to build the tools for expansion work, like licence mapping, competitor analysis, and dashboards.
- Run the go or no go process, pulling in sign off and risk checks across functions before launch.
What you need
- 2 to 4 years in top tier strategy consulting, financial regulatory law, or fintech expansion roles.
- Track record contributing to complex, multi stakeholder programs.
- Actively uses AI tools in daily work and knows when to verify or bring in experts.
- Strong communication skills that simplify complex issues for senior leaders.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to get hands on with execution details.
Good to have
- Experience supporting market launches or licence applications in APAC for a fintech or financial institution.
- Experience with financial regulatory and licensing topics such as payments, e money, or banking.
- Background spanning both consulting and an in house operating role.
- Familiar with how product, legal, risk, and operations intersect during new market launches.
- Experience working in a CEO office or similar central strategy team.
