Responsibilities
- Own accounting, reconciliation, and controls across payments, issuing, acquiring, FX, and intercompany flows.
- Sign off on the accounting treatment for new fee types and revenue models.
- Lead AI and automation efforts to cut manual work in cash, intercompany, AR, and treasury reconciliation.
- Lead the reconciliation and financial operations team so bank and closing tasks land accurately and on time.
- Partner with product, engineering, and legal early on new launches so accounting needs are built in from the start.
- Reconcile financial and management reporting figures and build out a scalable cost engine.
What you need
- Has 10 or more years of finance experience in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
- Holds a master's degree in accounting or finance, with a CA or CPA preferred.
- Knows payment product accounting: settlement, FX revaluation, intercompany flows, and revenue recognition.
- Has led a team of managers and individual contributors.
Good to have
- Comfortable with SQL or scripting and other data tools.
- Has worked with engineering and product teams to solve finance problems with technology.
