- Manage license and registration processes for payment and remittance services in Japan and act as the main contact with regulators.
- Track new laws and regulatory changes and advise the business on how to stay compliant.
- Manage compliance risk within the company's risk framework and escalate to the risk committee when needed.
- Run regular and thematic reviews to check how well the organization follows the rules.
- Deliver compliance training for employees.
What you need
- Has a bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of compliance experience.
- Knows financial regulations in Japan and the wider Asia region well.
- Has experience building or running a compliance program in payments.
Good to have
- Has direct experience working with Japan's FSA or other financial regulators in Asia.
