Responsibilities
- Designs, builds, and runs backend services for the liquidity platform that keeps company funds safe.
- Builds systems that make sure funds land in the right accounts and currencies at the right time.
- Builds scalable platforms for cash forecasting, balance tracking, and internal fund movement.
- Builds compliance systems that support regulatory reporting, fund segregation, and reconciliation.
- Designs and improves investment platform features that put surplus funds to safe use.
- Implements strong controls for limits, approvals, and reconciliation so the system behaves predictably even under failure.
What you need
- Has 5+ years of experience building and running backend systems in production.
- Is skilled in a JVM-based language such as Kotlin or Java, or a comparable backend stack.
- Understands core distributed systems concepts such as concurrency, data consistency, and retries.
- Has worked with REST or gRPC APIs alongside relational databases and key-value stores.
- Has experience with event-driven architecture using message brokers such as Kafka.
Good to have
- Has worked in fintech, payments, treasury, or banking.
- Has built systems that require strong audit trails, reconciliation, or approval workflows.
- Has worked with data-heavy systems such as cash flow analysis, forecasting, or operational dashboards.
- Has designed platforms that support global operations across multiple countries, currencies, or entities.
