Responsibilities
- Lead technical decisions, development, integration, and performance work on the new data platform.
- Build and automate large scale distributed data processing systems, both batch and streaming.
- Champion strong engineering practices to build scalable data infrastructure and pipelines.
- Help set shared tooling standards for data engineers across the company.
- Guide junior engineers and support teammates in delivering their projects.
What you need
- Have 5+ years of experience as a data engineer.
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field and know Kotlin, Java, Scala, Python, or SQL.
- Have designed, built, and operated distributed systems and owned overall data architecture.
- Have strong working knowledge of real time and batch processing systems.
- Have experience working with data at petabyte scale.
Good to have
- Have worked with Kafka, Data Lake, Spark, Flink, DBT, Spring Boot, Hadoop, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
