Responsibilities
- Set and lead the local payment method partnership strategy for APAC.
- Own the most strategic partner relationships as the main point of contact and drive results.
- Analyze the market and competitors to keep Airwallex ahead in payments.
- Find, evaluate, and negotiate with new partners through to contract and onboarding.
- Resolve operational issues tied to merchant onboarding, compliance, and transaction stability.
- Represent Airwallex at partner meetings and industry events.
What you need
- 5+ years of experience with eWallets, BNPL, PSPs, financial institutions, or card schemes.
- Understanding of compliance and onboarding for global and regional local payment methods.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as product, legal, compliance, finance, and sales.
- Experience working across multiple markets or managing cross-border relationships.
Good to have
- Experience working in a startup environment.
- Fluent in Mandarin.
- Experience working with Asian local payment providers.
