Responsibilities
- Builds deep knowledge of Airwallex's products and its AML and risk-related processes end to end.
- Designs and maintains a QA framework covering compliance and risk controls.
- Leads a team of QA analysts and oversees monthly QA testing.
- Finds operational risks, process gaps, and system limits, identifies root causes, and recommends fixes.
- Reports QA findings clearly to leadership and other teams and follows remediation through to completion.
- Supports global operations projects with data-driven analysis.
What you need
- Holds a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, statistics, or law.
- Has 8+ years in financial services, fintech, or consulting, with depth in compliance, risk control, or QA/auditing.
- Knows AML/CTF regulations, risk management standards, and industry practice well.
- Is familiar with AML processes such as KYC, transaction monitoring, or name screening, or with risk controls such as underwriting or merchant risk.
- Can speak and write in both English and Chinese.
Good to have
- Holding a certification such as CAMS or AAMLP is a plus.
- Being able to use data tools such as SQL or Looker is a plus.
