Responsibilities
- Lead the APAC merchant risk operations team for payments.
- Own end to end operational performance, including SLAs, quality, and loss metrics.
- Design and manage merchant monitoring, investigation, and escalation processes.
- Work with legal, risk, and compliance teams to roll new policies into operations.
- Work with product and engineering to evolve risk management tooling.
- Manage key metrics such as fraud and chargeback ratios to meet company goals.
What you need
- Have 8+ years in payments, fintech, or acquiring, including 3+ years managing people.
- Have deep expertise in credit and fraud risk or brand risk.
- Have experience managing senior individual contributors across multiple locations.
- Can move fast under ambiguity, set clear priorities, and drive results.
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Good to have
- Can use dashboards and data tools to diagnose issues and design experiments.
- Have experience building or scaling risk operations at a global fintech or top payments company.
- Have experience working with product and engineering to design risk tooling or AI automation.
- Speak Mandarin.
