Responsibilities
- Lead company-wide strategic projects end to end, covering new market entry, regulatory licensing, and operating model changes.
- Work with Product, Data, and Engineering to design and roll out AI tools and automation for compliance work.
- Find where operations get stuck and redesign how first-line and second-line teams interact along with the wider compliance structure.
- Prepare board-level materials and strategic proposals for the Chief Regulatory and Compliance Officer and senior leadership.
- Rally cross-functional groups, including Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Legal, and Compliance, to deliver top-priority projects on schedule and within budget.
- Set and track the key metrics that show how well compliance transformation spending is paying off.
What you need
- Has six to eight or more years of total work experience, including at least four years at a leading strategy consulting firm.
- Has led strategic projects at banking, payments, or fintech technology companies.
- Turns vague strategic questions into structured hypotheses and analysis frameworks with strong problem-solving skill.
- Can translate complex data into insight executives can act on right away.
- Communicates persuasively with C-suite executives and teams that span multiple functions.
Good to have
- Holds a graduate degree, for instance an MBA or a master's degree in finance, economics, or a business field.
- Has deep knowledge of global payments infrastructure, cross-border money flows, digital wallets, or multi-jurisdiction licensing rules.
- Has directly led digital transformation, process automation, or AI adoption within financial or compliance operations.
