Responsibilities
- Designs and operates backend services for global liquidity management, safeguarding, investment, and cash data.
- Builds systems that keep funds available where and when they're needed across entities and currencies.
- Builds platforms for liquidity forecasting, cash positioning, and fund movement optimization.
- Builds controls that support regulatory reporting, fund segregation, and reconciliation.
- Works with Kafka, gRPC, and REST APIs across microservices and event-driven systems.
- Joins the on-call rotation to keep the Liquidity Platform reliable.
What you need
- Has 5+ years building and operating backend systems in production.
- Has strong experience with JVM languages such as Kotlin or Java.
- Understands distributed systems fundamentals such as concurrency, consistency, and failure handling.
- Has designed REST or gRPC APIs and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
Good to have
- Experience in fintech, payments, treasury, or liquidity management is a plus.
- Experience building high-accuracy systems such as reconciliation or approval workflows is a plus.
- Experience designing platforms across multiple markets, currencies, or regulatory environments is a plus.
