Responsibilities
- Protect company systems and staff from threats such as malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
- Carry out digital forensics and incident response, and build and run the security tools needed for it.
- Hunt through logs to spot new threats and take part in the full incident-response cycle.
- Design and build the alerts and workflows that support incident response.
- Secure and fix issues across company IT infrastructure, including identity systems, endpoints, and internal networks.
- Choose, set up, and run security tooling based on where it matters most.
What you need
- Holds a degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Has 7+ years in security engineering or incident response.
- Skilled with security monitoring tools such as CrowdStrike or Splunk.
- Deeply understands attacker tools and techniques well enough to detect and respond to them.
- Explains technical security concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Good to have
- Has worked with cloud platforms such as GCP or Alibaba Cloud.
- Has used Okta, Google Workspace, or cloud-based VPN services.
- Has secured endpoints with MDM tools such as Kandji or Intune.
- Has scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
