- Identifies and resolves company-wide data challenges using cutting-edge data platform technology.
- Oversees the strategy, architecture, development, and operation of the data and AI platforms.
- Sets technical direction for the data organization and leads on solving hard problems directly.
- Establishes and spreads best practices across the data platform.
- Mentors the data platform team to grow their technical and professional skills.
What you need
- Has 8+ years of experience in data platform or an equivalent quantitative field.
- Has led company-wide initiatives across multiple teams or influenced tech roadmap planning.
- Has provided technical leadership on ETL frameworks, metrics stores, infrastructure, or data security projects.
- Has built and operated multi-region data pipelines at scale.
- Is familiar with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or DBT.
Good to have
- Has hands-on experience designing data processing patterns for a modern Lakehouse architecture.
- Has built large-scale data frameworks and services with tools such as GCP, Databricks, BigQuery, Kafka, Kubernetes, or Spark.
- Communicates clearly with audiences ranging from leadership to end users.
- Can rapidly evaluate technologies and run proofs of concept to shape architecture.
