Responsibilities
- Work with product managers, engineers, strategists, and writers to define problems and goals, map user flows, and launch new products.
- Act as the de facto creative director for cross-functional teams of designers, product managers, and engineers on multiple projects.
- Build trusted relationships with leaders inside and outside core product teams and drive executive-level communication.
- Weigh research methods and technical, business, and user opportunities and constraints together.
What you need
- More than eight years working as a product designer.
- Excellent, top-tier UX, visual, and interaction design craft.
- Skilled at defining direction and process, then guiding a team through it.
- A track record of setting vision and strategy for global products through ambiguity.
- Strong storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Good to have
- Ability to rally teams of varying size to reshape a product.
- Systems thinking that extends beyond the screen to offline experiences.
- Experience making complex information, tools, and services easy for an audience to grasp.
- Experience building 0 to 1 or redesigning major parts of a product or service.
