Responsibilities
- Put security controls in place that let the company grow without cutting corners on safety.
- Design and ship security improvements across apps and services.
- Build detection strategies and response playbooks that speed up and sharpen incident response.
- Dig through endpoint, network, and cloud logs to spot threats.
- Investigate and contain security incidents to limit damage and harden defenses.
- Piece together threat intel and forensic evidence to trace attacks.
What you need
- Has 8+ years in security engineering or incident response.
- Has deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform.
- Knows CI/CD tooling and pipelines well.
- Understands how attackers operate and can dig deep when responding to an incident.
- Can explain technical security topics in plain terms to non-technical people.
Good to have
- Holds a degree in cybersecurity or computer science.
- Carries a security certification such as OSCP, GIAC, or CEH.
- Is comfortable with security monitoring tools like Splunk.
- Has done DevOps or SRE work on Kubernetes.
- Has written code in Python, Java, or Kotlin.
