Responsibilities
- Shape the system architecture and map out where the App Marketplace or the extension framework needs to go technically over the coming years.
- Build the SDKs, webhooks, and UI-extension patterns that let outside developers plug their features straight into Airwallex.
- Set and enforce coding standards, monitoring practices, and security protocols across the team.
- Build documentation, sandboxes, and tooling that make life easier for outside developers.
What you need
- Has a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Has 5+ years building internet applications, large financial systems, or e-commerce platforms.
- Can code in languages like Java, Kotlin, C++, or Python.
- Has deep knowledge of the standard library, idioms, and best practices in their main languages.
- Has hands-on experience building or running a public developer platform, app marketplace, or extension framework.
Good to have
- Has deep expertise in Domain-Driven Design for handling complex business logic and service boundaries.
- Has hands-on experience with cloud-native tech like Docker and Kubernetes, plus advanced monitoring tools.
- Has integrated AI or LLM models to automate integration work or improve developer tooling.
