Responsibilities
- Design and build microservices in Java or Kotlin that keep high traffic services running reliably.
- Work with data scientists and product managers to build data pipelines and analytics that back growth metrics.
- Partner with frontend, product, design and marketing to turn business needs into backend architecture.
- Build services that support A/B testing, feature toggles and real time monitoring to lift conversion.
- Apply secure coding practices, stay compliant, and find and close security gaps before they become risks.
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering field.
- 5+ years in modern engineering practice centered on continuous integration and quality, with solid grounding in object oriented design.
- Hands on experience with domain driven design and event driven architecture.
- Deep experience with distributed systems that need high throughput, low latency and high availability.
- Cloud experience running services on GCP or AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Comfortable with observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus.
Good to have
- Experience building with Java or Kotlin on Spring or Spring Boot.
- Experience owning go to market work from start to finish.
