- Designs and builds robust services that power the lending platform, with a focus on credit products.
- Builds secure, scalable APIs that let client companies embed credit products into their own offerings.
- Leads design reviews, advises on architecture, and mentors engineers.
- Applies resilient distributed systems design to keep the platform reliable and performant.
- Sets up automated testing, code review, and monitoring to keep the platform stable.
- Tracks industry trends and keeps improving architecture and engineering practices.
What you need
- Holds a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related technical field.
- Has 7 plus years in software engineering with strong modern engineering and continuous integration practices.
- Has 2 plus years in a technical leadership role mentoring engineers and driving engineering strategy.
- Has built backend systems, typically with Java or Kotlin and Spring.
- Has experience with REST API design, domain driven design, and event driven architecture.
- Has experience with GCP or AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Good to have
- Experience in financial services, lending, payments, or credit products is a plus.
- Experience with SaaS products built as a platform is a plus.
