Responsibilities
- Own the design, build, and operation of lending services built around credit products.
- Ship secure, clearly documented APIs so client businesses can embed credit products in their own offerings.
- Run design reviews, weigh in on architecture calls, and coach engineers on the team.
- Push the team toward resilient, distributed-systems thinking as a default.
- Team up across functions to actually ship lending products to customers.
- Keep the platform reliable through automated tests, code review, and active monitoring.
What you need
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or something close to it.
- Seven or more years of hands-on software engineering.
- At least two years leading engineers technically and setting direction as a lead.
- Backend systems built in Java or Kotlin on the Spring stack.
- A strong track record designing and shipping RESTful APIs.
- Docker and Kubernetes experience on GCP or AWS.
Good to have
- Having worked in fintech, lending, payments, or around credit products is a plus.
- Experience with SaaS platform products is a plus.
