Responsibilities
- Helps customers design applications on AWS that scale and stay available.
- Redesigns and builds customer applications to fit the cloud.
- Acts as the technical lead working alongside the customer's business, dev, and ops teams.
- Advises on and implements AWS best practices using cloud architecture and design patterns.
- Runs agile development and DevOps practices, from infrastructure as code to automated releases.
- Visits customer sites when the engagement requires it.
What you need
- Understands core AWS services such as EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, and S3.
- Has implemented AWS services across different distributed computing setups.
- Has built software using cloud architecture and design patterns.
- Has worked with agile and DevOps practices.
Good to have
- Has 8+ years of IT implementation experience.
- Has deep expertise designing and implementing cloud computing systems.
- Has led the design, build, and rollout of large-scale business software.
- Has led discussions with senior leaders on technical tradeoffs.
