Responsibilities
- Serves as the trusted industry advisor helping Korean exchanges, brokerages, asset managers, and banks adopt AI and cloud technology.
- Works with the sales team to shape opportunities and supports the deal cycle from start to finish.
- Builds relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels, such as heads of trading, risk, and digital assets.
- Builds and runs a go-to-market strategy and AI-focused proposals and narratives for capital markets and banking in Korea.
- Finds ways to apply services like Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker to real capital markets work and proposes them to customers.
- Joins executive briefings and industry events to connect AWS's technology to customers' transformation goals.
What you need
- Has ten or more years solving problems with technology in the global financial services industry.
- Has set strategy that influenced decisions at the organizational level, in sales, business development, or consulting.
- Can explain how generative and agentic AI apply to financial services problems.
- Is native-level fluent in Korean and communicates in English without difficulty at work.
Good to have
- Has founded a company, held an executive role, or led a business unit in a related field.
- Has sold to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 companies.
- Has worked front-office at a securities firm, exchange, asset manager, bank, or fintech in Korea.
- Knows Korea's financial regulators well, including the FSC, FSS, and KISA.
- Has applied tokenization, digital assets, or blockchain to financial services.
