Responsibilities
- Designs the user experience for new capabilities in an open source developer tool.
- Writes high quality code to build new features.
- Checks that the code works correctly and holds up across many different use cases.
- Reviews implementation choices closely for performance, quality, and security.
- Works together with teams both inside and outside the company.
What you need
- Has professional software development experience in Go, Python, C, or C++.
- Knows Linux system level fundamentals such as cgroups and namespaces.
- Holds a technical degree or has an equally compelling background.
- Writes and speaks English professionally and presents well.
- Can travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks at a time.
Good to have
- Has experience with LXC or LXD.
- Has experience with AI/ML or CUDA/OpenVINO.
- Knows how system and language level package managers work internally.
