Responsibilities
- Own the technical strategy for key Developer Platform customers and partners across APJC and Greater China.
- Turn business, security, and operational needs into architectures teams can actually run.
- Lead architecture discovery workshops, proofs of concept, design reviews, and production readiness checks.
- Advise executives and technical leaders on modernization, distributed systems, and AI architecture strategy.
- Build reference architectures and standards that other customer teams can reuse.
- Stay hands-on by writing and reviewing code, and mentor other solutions architects.
What you need
- Has 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Can lead executive-level technical discussions in both English and Mandarin.
- Has led complex technical strategy spanning developers, infrastructure, security, and executives.
- Has deep knowledge of compute, storage, networking, security, and reliability in distributed applications.
- Can write code and review production-grade applications directly.
- Has worked with a widely used language such as JavaScript or TypeScript and at least one major public cloud.
Good to have
- Has built or run applications on Cloudflare's Developer Platform.
- Has designed AI inference, agentic, or RAG applications.
- Has worked with customers, partners, or developer communities in Greater China.
- Has a record of public speaking, technical writing, or open source contribution.
- Holds a relevant cloud or architecture certification.
