Responsibilities
- Own the Developer Platform technical strategy that serves customers and partners throughout India and the wider APJC region.
- Work with engineering leaders, architects, security teams, and executives to design architectures and move workloads onto Cloudflare.
- Lead the discovery calls, hands-on workshops, PoC builds, design critiques, and go-live readiness reviews.
- Build reusable reference architectures and technical guidance shared across the region.
- Stay hands-on by building and reviewing representative applications and integrations.
- Work with sales, product, developer relations, and marketing to support account strategy and product launches.
What you need
- Has spent roughly 10-plus years across solutions architecture, software engineering, or technical consulting, working directly with customers in a technical capacity.
- Speaks English and one major Indian language fluently enough to lead technical and executive conversations.
- Has directed complicated technical plans that bring together developers, platform or infrastructure groups, security experts, and senior leaders.
- Understands distributed application architecture in depth, covering security, reliability, and observability along with compute, storage, and networking.
- Has built or reviewed production-quality applications in a widely used language such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Can travel up to 30%, mainly within APJC including India.
Good to have
- Has built and run production applications on Cloudflare's Developer Platform.
- Has designed AI inference, agentic, RAG, or data-heavy applications.
- Has partnered with customers, technology allies, or developer groups based in India.
- Has spoken publicly, written technical content, or contributed to open-source work before.
- Holds a relevant cloud or architecture certification.
