Responsibilities
- Recruit and lead the pre-sales engineering team across six countries in Southeast Asia.
- Execute the technical sales strategy with the regional sales lead to drive revenue growth.
- Guide complex enterprise sales cycles from discovery through proof of concept to close, engaging directly with CIO, CTO, and CISO level customers.
- Decide how the company's storage, backup, and security products are positioned across ASEAN markets.
- Join global pre-sales forums to feed customer outcomes and market insight into the company's product roadmap.
- Work with channel partners on technical engagement and build pre-sales programs that scale across the region.
What you need
- Spent 10 to 15 years in enterprise technology, at least 5 of which were spent heading a presales group or a technical sales team somewhere in ASEAN.
- Proven record of driving strong double-digit growth while leading a technical sales team.
- Deep technical knowledge of data security, data management, backup, and storage.
- Experience leading teams across multiple countries.
Good to have
- Fluency in a regional ASEAN language such as Mandarin, Bahasa, Thai, or Vietnamese in addition to English is a plus.
- A degree in computer science or engineering is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools to boost team productivity is a plus.
