Responsibilities
- Train surgeons, assistants and operating-room teams on da Vinci at training centers; support specialty courses and academic events.
- Build and improve training materials, protocols, products, research and assessments, using surveys and learner feedback.
- Train sales representatives, provide occasional operating-room support and troubleshoot training-center systems.
- Manage training calendars, logistics, inventory, equipment maintenance, cleaning and instrument sterilization.
- Identify service-training needs and certification criteria, work with experts and multimedia teams on in-person, online, video and blended curricula.
- Track project status, document operating procedures, improve processes and mentor new or cross-functional teammates.
What you need
- Three to five years in a healthcare-related company or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Problem solving, independent ownership, ethical practice, teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-directed learning, group training facilitation, cross-functional project management and familiarity with adult-learning methods.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines, develop new processes, evaluate complex situations and adapt quickly.
- Flexible working hours and acceptance of travel up to 25%.
Good to have
- Professional training, clinical/operating-room or medical-device experience is preferred; adult-learning knowledge is also listed as preferred.
- Clinical/health science, healthcare management, engineering, business, communication or education degree is desirable.
- MS Office and database experience preferred; CRM/ERP, Salesforce and SAP knowledge a plus.
