Responsibilities
- Design reliable, scalable systems on MongoDB together with customers.
- Partner with sales on account planning and own the technical work: demos, proof of value, and sizing.
- Generate demand through industry events and self driven technical initiatives.
- Build trust with customers so they keep relying on MongoDB.
- Feed field insights back to the product team and mentor other solutions consultants.
- Build a public profile for MongoDB expertise through writing or speaking.
What you need
- Has 12+ years in a customer facing role, including at least 7 years in pre sales.
- Has 3+ years working with scripting languages like Python or Node.js, or languages like C or Java.
- Has designed scalable distributed systems in the cloud and on premises.
- Can explain complex technical ideas clearly to both executives and practitioners.
- Has worked with regional sales leaders on growth plans spanning multiple accounts or industries.
- Can travel up to 25% and already has the legal right to work in Singapore.
Good to have
- Has experience with database programming or data modeling.
- Has worked on data engineering or AI/ML projects.
- Has moved legacy systems onto modern tech stacks.
- Holds a MongoDB certification or a cloud provider certification.
