Responsibilities
- Design scalable, reliable applications and infrastructure on MongoDB for partner-led deals.
- Team up with account teams and cloud partners to sharpen MongoDB's technical pitch to customers.
- Guide customers and partners through architecture reviews and modernization decisions.
- Support proofs of concept, technical validation, and sizing to help close deals.
- Build and maintain demos, workshops, and technical content that showcase MongoDB.
- Work with sales on account strategy while juggling several active opportunities.
What you need
- Eight to eleven years in customer-facing work, including five or more years of enterprise pre-sales.
- Three or more years coding in languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL, or Java.
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems across cloud and on-prem environments.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 25 percent of the time.
Good to have
- Experience selling or deploying databases on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus.
- Background in data engineering, modernization, or AI projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC is a plus.
- A MongoDB or cloud provider certification is a plus.
