Responsibilities
- Manage the hardware, OS, and software releases, patches, and firmware updates that Keystone service needs.
- Plan and carry out upgrades, patch installs, and data migrations, along with rollback plans.
- Track each customer's capacity use, performance, and latency using internal tools.
- Pass on risks and security notices to the right teams so nothing important gets missed.
- Diagnose and fix complex issues in Keystone products and the connected cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS).
- Analyze logs across systems to find root causes, and turn what you learn into knowledge articles for other engineers.
What you need
- Has five or more years of relevant technical support experience.
- Has hands-on experience with networking and storage technologies such as NFS, CIFS, SAN, iSCSI, TCP/IP, and RAID, plus NetApp storage systems.
- Will earn NCDA certification within the first six months on the job.
- Has experience spotting performance issues in virtualized or cloud environments.
- Is fluent in both Japanese and English.
