Responsibilities
- Plan and lead delivery of events in Japan, from in-person to virtual, for both external and internal audiences.
- Work with PR, content, and marketing teams to shape the story each event should tell.
- Manage and oversee outside vendors such as event agencies, production teams, and venues.
- Manage budget and schedule to deliver events within tight deadlines.
- Track new tools and platforms needed for hybrid or virtual events and put them to use.
What you need
- Ten or more years of events experience, ideally from entertainment or gaming.
- Able to work independently and make sound calls under pressure.
- Detail oriented while still moving quickly.
- Transparent about raising problems, questions, or obstacles rather than hiding them.
Good to have
- Fluency in both Japanese and English is a plus.
- Experience working in the Asia-Pacific region is a plus.
