Responsibilities
- Monitors clusters with internal tools to detect and troubleshoot issues quickly.
- Responds to alerts and incidents on time following standard procedures and escalation rules.
- Performs initial diagnosis and escalates complex issues to support or R&D.
- Documents incident details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the tracking system.
- Works with support, R&D, account teams, and customers to resolve incidents and share updates.
- Covers a 24/7 operations center through shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.
What you need
- Has a high school diploma or equivalent; an IT-related degree or certification is a plus.
- Prior experience as an operations center operator or in similar network monitoring is preferred.
- Understands networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, DHCP, and DNS.
- Can work both independently and as part of a team.
- Has strong problem-solving and analytical skills and can multitask.
- Is willing to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
