Responsibilities
- Identify new global business development opportunities, clarify customer challenges, develop differentiated proposals, and support global work in pharmacovigilance and regulatory.
- Use your network to build new relationships across biopharma and medtech in Japan.
- Serve as the Japan R&D Consulting Lead for top global accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with customers as the primary contact in Japan for strategic and tactical questions.
- Support the creation of new campaigns, offerings, and thought leadership.
- Lead multiple project and program teams, empowering them to manage delivery from scope through quality.
What you need
- 10+ years combined industry and R&D consulting experience.
- Experience in life sciences, particularly R&D operations, in Japan and APAC.
- Extensive network across leadership at top 20 life sciences companies.
- Experience operating and engaging credibly with senior life sciences customer leaders.
- Experience designing and implementing digital transformation and R&D innovation programs.
- Fluent in Japanese and English.
Good to have
- Experience with digital technologies such as platforms, analytics tools, and emerging tech.
- Understanding of Veeva's broader platforms and solutions and how they connect to R&D consulting.
- Experience working with SaaS solutions.
