Responsibilities
- Lead implementation, rollout, enhancement, and migration projects for Commercial Veeva solutions such as CRM, Vault PromoMats, and Events Management.
- Manage project workstreams including workshops, requirements gathering, configuration, validation, data migration, integration, training, and go-live.
- Work closely with Japan-based customers and global teams throughout project delivery.
- Align solution design with customers' global governance standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Strategy, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
What you need
- 5+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in IT consulting or professional services within a regulated industry (banking, insurance, life sciences, etc.) or in life sciences IT/Commercial roles.
- Experience working with business and IT groups on implementation, administration, or support of software solutions.
- Experience developing workshop materials, training materials, or leading requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly understand requirements and design and implement corresponding solutions hands-on.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally.
- Business-level English and fluent Japanese.
- Able to work onsite in Tokyo or Osaka.
Good to have
- Experience in the life sciences space with knowledge of promotional materials or commercial excellence.
- Direct experience with systems such as Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault PromoMats, Salesforce, or Oracle.
- Degree in data analysis, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience in services delivery management, systems implementation, or project management.
