- Take full ownership of hardware sourcing for a given Verkada product line.
- Dig into bill of materials pricing to find savings and negotiate better costs.
- Build solid working ties with suppliers.
- Team up with, and influence, other departments to keep production cost and quality on track.
- Check manufacturing value add by studying production cycle times.
What you need
- Brings 4+ years working in strategic sourcing, supply chains, or commodity buying.
- Has spent 4+ years dealing with international supply chains spanning multiple countries and time zones.
- Is open to traveling as much as 30% of the time.
- Can be on site five days a week and join calls early in the morning.
Good to have
- An engineering degree from university is a nice bonus.
