Responsibilities
- Designs, builds, and runs backend services that power the core product.
- Develops event driven systems using Go and Kafka.
- Builds scalable microservices in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Makes architecture calls that improve performance, resilience, and maintainability.
- Owns code in production end to end, including monitoring, debugging, and improving it.
- Takes part in an on call rotation to handle incidents.
What you need
- Has 5 plus years of backend development experience in Go or a similar language.
- Has a strong grasp of microservices, distributed systems, and event based communication.
- Is comfortable with container orchestration like Kubernetes and Docker and with cloud infrastructure.
- Speaks business level Korean and English.
Good to have
- Background in gaming, payments, or commerce systems is a plus.
- Experience in adtech or offer monetization platforms is a plus.
- Hands on experience with Kafka or a similar streaming platform is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
- Familiarity with analytical or transactional databases like ClickHouse or Postgres is a plus.
