Responsibilities
- Owns and grows core journeys spanning onboarding decisions, identity checks, authentication, account recovery, permissions, and customer notifications.
- Decides the strategy and roadmap behind verifying who users are, handing out access, keeping accounts safe, and reaching customers.
- Weighs how well onboarding converts against account security, catching fraud, staying compliant, and running efficiently, all while keeping the experience simple.
- Designs scalable identity, access, and recovery features that fit different customer types, business structures, regions, and regulatory needs.
- Sets the playbook for customer notifications, when to send them and which channel to use, while managing growth against fatigue, deliverability, cost, and misuse.
What you need
- Has 6+ years owning complex platform or B2B products such as SaaS, payments, or infrastructure end to end, and is comfortable going deep on architecture, APIs, and pipelines when talking with engineers.
- Has led cross functional collaboration with engineering, risk, compliance, and legal inside heavily regulated settings such as fintech, banking, or security.
- Defines product metrics, digs into SQL or dashboards directly, and explains complex technical or risk topics clearly to both engineers and executives.
Good to have
- Has built platform features such as APIs or SDKs consumed by multiple teams, especially around identity and access management, authentication, policy engines, or notification systems.
- Has a background in fraud prevention, security, and risk mitigation, including designing cost effective defenses against things like phishing or SMS abuse.
- Has shipped features across many countries, navigated varied regulatory regimes, and managed platform versioning, SLAs, and documentation at scale.
