Responsibilities
- Advise C-level executives (CIO, CTO, CEO, CISO) on observability adoption, investment decisions, and operational rollout.
- Read industry trends through customer engagements and feed insights to the Product, GTM, and Architecture teams to help build pipeline.
- Serve as a thought leader in observability and security.
- Become a trusted advisor to sales leaders and customer executives on ROI and value realization.
- Work with PSA, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Marketing to support both practitioners and economic decision-makers.
- Lead architecture briefings for key customers at Datadog's Executive Briefing Center.
What you need
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or large-scale application architecture.
- Deep understanding of observability, cloud, and technology transformation for the Japan market.
- Strategic thinking that tackles diverse technical and business challenges creatively over the long term.
- Experience engaging and influencing VP-level and C-level stakeholders at large enterprises.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Native-level Japanese and strong English proficiency.
Good to have
- A master's degree is a plus.
