Responsibilities
- Builds and keeps improving deep learning models used for click through and conversion prediction and ranking.
- Builds and maintains training and serving data pipelines using GCP tools like Dataflow, BigQuery, BigTable, and Apache Beam.
- Supports live model serving and watches real time behavior to find and fix problems.
- Designs offline experiments, sets evaluation metrics, and writes up the findings.
- Works with other machine learning engineers, applied scientists, and infrastructure engineers to carry projects through to completion.
What you need
- Holds a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Has spent 2+ years writing production code for machine learning or deep learning systems, with senior candidates expected to bring more.
- Understands core statistics and probability, classification and regression modeling, and offline evaluation.
- Can code in at least one of Python, Java, or Go.
- Communicates fluently in English.
