Responsibilities
- Owns pre-sales and solution delivery for strategic customers such as AI-native companies, large enterprises, and government, from discovery to adoption.
- Acts as a trusted technical advisor to senior customer stakeholders such as CTOs and ML and platform engineering leads.
- Leads ML/AI infrastructure and MLOps architecture, including large-scale training and inference on GPU-accelerated cloud.
- Designs, validates, and documents reference architectures, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and deployment best practices.
- Leads advanced PoCs, workshops, architecture reviews, and executive presentations to accelerate customer adoption.
- Mentors other solutions architects and raises the technical bar across the organization.
What you need
- Has 10+ years in a senior technical role such as solutions architect, systems architect, or ML platform engineer.
- Has a track record of leading complex pre-sales engagements end to end, from discovery through PoC to production.
- Has deep hands-on experience with large-scale ML workloads, including GPU training and inference at scale.
- Has deep cloud infrastructure and MLOps know-how, covering both Kubernetes-based platforms and how distributed systems are put together.
- Has hands-on experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform or Ansible, and strong Python skills.
- Can communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders in both Japanese and English.
Good to have
- Has prior experience as a senior AI/ML specialist solutions architect or technical product manager.
- Has hands-on experience with HPC/ML orchestration frameworks such as Slurm or Kubeflow.
- Has practical experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
