Responsibilities
- Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise wired and wireless networks for scalability, security, and high availability.
- Manages network connectivity between branch offices worldwide and standardizes architecture with global teams.
- Manages capacity planning, resilience, and continuous improvement of remote access systems such as VPN.
- Builds and improves automation and monitoring tools, driving an automation-first approach.
- Diagnoses complex network issues, performs root cause analysis, and implements preventive measures.
- Works with telecom providers, leading escalations and SLA management.
What you need
- Has in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP technologies.
- Is familiar with dynamic routing protocols.
- Can design and maintain production-grade automation in Python, Go, or similar.
- Is proficient in Unix system administration.
- Has hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network hardware such as Cisco, Aruba, Arista, Extreme, or Juniper.
- Can own outcomes independently in a senior or lead capacity.
Good to have
- Has experience with network automation frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, NetBox, Nornir, or SaltStack.
- Has experience building high-density enterprise wireless networks.
- Has working knowledge of IPv6.
