Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of strategic partners as their primary technical advisor and long-term relationship owner.
- Build the technical strategy and plan for each partner.
- Lead technical discovery with partners and joint customers and design Applied AI architectures spanning models, apps, enterprise data, security, and governance.
- Guide partners through their initial and most strategic deployments, building tailored enablement and reusable patterns so partners can operate independently.
- Coordinate OpenAI specialists across deployment, product, and security teams while keeping ownership and handoffs clear.
- Track partner capability, pipeline progress, and adoption outcomes to spot where more investment or intervention is needed.
What you need
- Has significant experience in technical roles that work directly with customers or partners, for example as a solutions architect, partner engineer, or technical account lead.
- Has worked successfully with global or regional system integrators, consulting firms, or technology partners.
- Has guided complex enterprise organizations from discovery through production deployment and impact.
- Can build credibility with executives like CTOs and CISOs while communicating well with architects and engineers.
- Has a strong foundation in software and cloud architecture, including APIs, distributed systems, enterprise data, security, and governance.
- Understands modern AI systems, frontier language models, and agentic applications.
