Responsibilities
- Find enterprise use cases, define architecture and success measures, and build prototypes, evaluations, integrations and production systems.
- Debug failures and make decisions about models, agents, retrieval, reliability, observability, cost, safety, security and governance.
- Work with customers and OpenAI technical teams; feed deployment lessons into reusable tools, patterns and product improvements.
- Full time. Seoul, in office 3 days a week, relocation support; no specific industry or OpenAI product experience needed.
What you need
- A demonstrated record of building enterprise AI or ML systems from prototype to production, with substantial personal coding, architecture, evaluation or debugging contributions.
- High Python proficiency; systematic evaluation with representative data, graders, production signals and human judgment.
- Enterprise integration, reliability, observability, privacy, security, governance, performance and cost experience; connect technical decisions to adoption and outcomes.
- Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders, strong ownership and judgment in ambiguous work, fast learning and collaborative humility.
Good to have
- JavaScript, TypeScript or another relevant language is valuable. Industry-specific or prior OpenAI product experience is optional.
