Responsibilities
- Embeds deeply with strategic customers as the technical lead for AI-driven cybersecurity work.
- Leads discovery across areas such as application security, vulnerability management, SOC, and cloud security.
- Builds demos, proofs of concept, workshops, and reference architectures using OpenAI's APIs, Codex, and agents.
- Scopes pilots by setting success criteria, data needs, and safety boundaries.
- Advises customers on safe implementation patterns such as tool calling, structured outputs, guardrails, and human approval steps.
- Turns customer needs and blockers into feedback for product, engineering, and research teams.
What you need
- 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience in consulting, solutions engineering, security architecture, or deployment engineering.
- Deep expertise in a cybersecurity area such as application security, cloud security, vulnerability management, incident response, or threat intelligence.
- Can communicate credibly with everyone from CISOs to hands-on security engineers.
- Hands-on experience building prototypes or production systems with Python, JavaScript, APIs, GitHub automation, or CI/CD.
- Knows how to design AI workflows that include retrieval, structured outputs, tool use, evals, and guardrails.
