Responsibilities
- Designs, prototypes, and validates mechanical and electrical subsystems from early development through mass production.
- Partners closely with the design, operations, and manufacturing groups to keep quality, reliability, and scalability on track.
- Leads the manufacturability reviews (DFM/DFA), works through design iterations, and gets prototype and pilot units up and running.
- Debugs complex system-level issues and leads root-cause investigations.
- Partners with global suppliers and cross-functional teams to execute from concept to launch.
What you need
- Brings 6+ years of hands-on experience in consumer hardware or consumer electronics, ideally including advanced product development.
- Has deep technical fluency in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering.
- Has taken at least one consumer product from concept to mass production.
- Thrives on hands-on problem solving and iteration in fast-paced environments.
Good to have
- Has cross-disciplinary experience across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering.
