Responsibilities
- Owns the technical plan across several linked workstreams, turning business goals into a plan with dates and priorities.
- Checks in daily on execution across field engineers and the customer's team, clearing what's stuck and reordering priorities.
- Sits inside the customer's organization to map how they work, builds the needed tooling, and drives adoption and change.
- Works with product and research so the pieces they need arrive on time.
- Turns repeated solutions into patterns other teams can reuse.
- Sets goals and measures, tracks results before and after launch, and reports to executives.
What you need
- Has led customer facing technical projects end to end for 7+ years.
- Has a track record of steering large, complex customer projects to success, ideally involving AI.
- Can cut through uncertainty and simplify complicated work.
- Speaks and writes both Japanese and English fluently.
- Has taken AI or LLM systems live in production.
Good to have
- Deep knowledge of one field, like healthcare, energy, or finance, builds credibility.
- Can step back from execution to spot patterns across projects and turn them into reusable approaches.
