Responsibilities
- Configure and deploy OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) components such as Content Server, Archive Center, and Business Workspace.
- Map and connect metadata between xECM and enterprise apps such as SAP, Salesforce, or Microsoft 365.
- Run workshops to gather requirements and turn them into technical design documents.
- Support data mapping, schema definition, and strategies for moving legacy documents onto new systems.
- Write test scripts, run user acceptance testing, and find and fix performance issues.
- Train client admins and users so they can run the system on their own.
What you need
- Has 7 to 8 years of IT or technical consulting experience.
- Has hands-on exposure to REST and SOAP style APIs along with their SDKs.
- Can do backend development and integration work in Java or C#/.NET.
- Can customize UI and handle client-side integration in JavaScript.
- Can write and read SQL to query relational databases and troubleshoot issues.
- Completed a bachelor's degree with a focus on computer science, information systems, or something similar.
Good to have
- Has experience with OpenText xECM or similar platforms such as SharePoint, Documentum, or FileNet.
- Has worked on projects moving legacy systems onto new platforms.
- Has experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or OpenText Cloud, and deployment infrastructure such as firewalls and load balancers.
- Has basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts and frameworks such as LLMs, RAG, and vector search.
- Holds a certification in OpenText Content Server or Extended ECM Business Workspace.
