Responsibilities
- Understand strategic clients' challenges and design implementation solutions built on OpenText's product suite.
- Run workshops and best-practice sessions together with clients and the sales team.
- Clarify business requirements and propose solutions that account for the client's current and future roadmap.
- Lay out the pros and cons of different design options and recommend the best fit for the situation.
- Design and build complex application modules yourself, and own quality through code review.
- Mentor junior architects and senior engineers.
What you need
- Have analysis and design experience across technical domains such as data analytics, BI, BPM, and ECM.
- Have worked in the public sector, banking, financial services, or insurance industry.
- Be familiar with the software development lifecycle and effort estimation methods.
- Have experience engaging directly with clients to lead project work.
- Have hands-on technical knowledge of Java, J2EE, SQL, and database design.
- Be able to travel domestically and internationally.
Good to have
- Have hands-on experience with Actuate BIRT or BDA Analytics.
